MSD lowered the profile for a sleek look and routed the wiring out one side of the unit through a sealed and locked connector for easy installation with a clean, neat look under your hood. More important is what’s inside these digital 6A ignitions. Microprocessors, updated circuits and efficient components control every firing to help the ignition make more power with less current draw–each spark packs more than 135 millijoules of energy with up to 530 volts! The MSD 6A ignition control set the standards that other ignitions strive to reach. In fact, you’ll find ignitions from other companies that carry the 6A name (and in some cases, the same part number). We kept the same footprint as the traditional 6A but lowered the profile for a sleek look. The wiring is all routed out one end of the unit through a sealed and locking connector. This eases installation and keeps your wiring looking neat and clean.
