Description

TEIN S.Tech Springs are an excellent step towards suspension tuning.

They now offer 3 different drops from 3 slightly different kits from an approximately drop between -26mm to -36mm at the front and -8mm to -25mm rearm these kits come in 3 configurations as seen below and with a drop in ride height offer a more aggressive appearance and increased road holding capability.

Designed to be used with OEM or OEM replacement shocks. Each application is road tested in the UK for the proper balance between performance and comfort.

Comes with a 1 year limited warranty, spring length is guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm, and be clear of any manufacturer defects.

These are now available in 3 height options with the following Effective Drop once Settled

Option 1 – minimum lowering option
  • Front Drop -26mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 3.2)
  • Rear Drop -8mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 2.3)
Option 2 – moderate lowering option (most popular)
  • Front Drop -30mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 3.5)
  • Rear Drop -25mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 2.5)
Option 3 – maximum lowering option (most lows)
  • Front Drop -36mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 3.5)
  • Rear Drop -18mm (Spring Rate Kgf/mm: 2.5)

These lowering springs will fit all years of Mazda RX-8 including the R3 however they do not fit the dampers found on the PZ
Please note these will not fit the PZ due to the design of the Bilstein dampers used on that model.

    Good compromise for road/track and daily as well.
    Look is more agressive, and suspension stiffness is still acceptable for bumpy roads.
    Combined with RB Sway bars, the overall balance of the car is perfect, no under steering at all (with 4 identical tires) and power oversteering is easy to control.
