Description
This is a genuine intake hose joint found in the hose between the airbox and the throttle body.
They connect the the smaller vacuum lines that come from this “accordion” hose and supply critical vacuum to other parts of the engine.
These commonly get broken when being removed, and if not replaced can cause running issues due to un-measured air entering the engine putting the Air Fuel mixture out of spec.
We offer these in either new or used options
The used parts will obviously show signs of them being used but are still a good working part.
There are three of these air hose joints found on the 2003-2008 Series 1 RX-8 and only 2 on the later 2008-2013 Series 2 RX-8 R3.
