Strongflex Rear Subframe Bush Kit for RX-8

Description

This is possibly the only Rear Subframe Bush mount kit available on the market.

Made by Strongflex this kit replaced the 3 bushes installed in the subframe that mount it to the rear of the RX-8 Chassis.

These fit all years of the Mazda RX-8 fromt 2003 – 2013.

Made from Strongflex’s Polyurethane and are offered in 2 stiffness ratings.

• Strongflex Red – 80Sha – Road Use
• Stongfled Yellow – 90Sha – Track Use

Strongflex Red – 80Sha – Road Use

We would advise the Red for road use as it is the softest of the 2 compounds offering very good NVH* control, and be the closest to OEM mounts.

Stongfled Yellow – 90Sha – Track Use

We would advise choosing Yellow if you are planning to hit the track on a regular basis as it will offer a firmer rear subframe mounting option when compared to the red. While Yellow still offers good NVH* control it is worth noting that with stiffer bushes will come an increase in noise in the cabin generated from the chassis while driving. We have had many customers running Stiffer bushes on their cars and been happy as they have known what to expect.

Each kit contains 

• 2x 101682B/A: Rear beam – front bush
• 2x 101683B/A: Rear beam – central bush
• 2x 101684B/A: Rear beam – rear bush

With the the age of the RX-8 increasing and more of these amazing chassis being overhauled these are the perfect solution for bringing back some of the stiffness in your RX-8’s chassis that you probably never even realised you had lost.

These bushes are not available from any of the other manufacturers we offer such as, Powerflex, Whiteline, SuperPro or Energy Suspension. They are truly unique to Stongflex.
