These are the later hotter spec plugs recommended for the R3 but are commonly used in the early RX-8 too.
Many owners have used these to help prevent flooding as they run hotter.

We would normally recommend these be changed more frequently than Mazda Recommend ideally between 12 and 24 months or 12’500-25’000mile intervals.
