Description

Take full control of your electric cooling fan with the Mishimoto Adjustable Fan Controller Kit! This kit is applicable for any 12v electric fan and includes all necessary components for installation. This kit can be purchased with a probe-style temperature sensor or with a 1/8″ NPT thread-in sensor to fit the needs of any project. The Mishimoto Fan Controller features adjustable activation from 66°C to 116°C and deactivates once temperatures are reduced by 6°C. This controller includes a built-in A/C override feature and is designed for use with 1–2 electric fans drawing a combined 25 amps or less. The Mishimoto Adjustable Fan Controller Kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Adjustment is simple via means of a slot head screwdriver to adjust the dial on the control box.

Essex Rotary would recommend the selection of the the 1/8th npt sensor over the probe style. The sensor can be installed in to a hose adapter like the Mishimoto hose adaptor.

Please note that this system is not required on modern vehicles like the Rx-7 FD and RX-8 due to their ECU controlled fan operation. while it is possible to install these with a good understanding of the fan wiring, if you have a cooling system issue that your looking to fix on one of these vehicles we would recommend seeking professional advise from a specialist first.
