Genuine Mazda Rear Main Oil Seal for RX-7

Description

This is a genuine Mazda rear main oil seal, fitting all engines from 1969 through to 2003 and is a great alternative for the RX-8 Engine to replace the hard brown seals fitted at the factory.

This seal is installed in the rear stationary gear and seals against the centre of the flywheel or rear counterweight.
It is a good idea to change these if you are replacing the flywheel.

These seals can also be used on the RX-8’s 13b-MSP RENESIS, we actually find they are a softer more supple material than the standard seal Mazda recommend for the RX-8 RENESIS engine.

This seal will fit engines from 1969 through to 2003 plus is optional on the 2003 onwards RX-8 to replace the harder dark brown seal.
