Description
The original Mazda oil pans are known for corroding due to the UK road conditions in the winter, this is something that does not seem to have been fixed with the redesign for the R3 even when taking in to consideration the addition of the undertray under the sump.
Left unchecked this can cause the oil to leak from the oil pan as it rusts out, this is because even though Mazda totally changed the oil pan design compared to the earlier vehicles they still stuck with a stamped steel bottom plate, these rust out.
This genuine oil pan plate currently the only option available for the RX8 R3.
These only fir the Series 2 RX-8 R3 made between 2008 and 2013
