COMING SOON We have been working hard to develop this new 5 piece 1/2inch engine stud kit. Studs are manufactured in the UK Exclusively for us here at Essex Rotary to our own design. Manufactured from high grade engineering steel and finished in black anti corrosion coating. unlike other kits that we have fitted in the past we opted to have a small hex machined on to the back end to aid in positive installation and removal when needed. Each kit includes the following

• 5 x Essex Rotary Designed 1/2inch high strength studs
• 5 x Genuine APR Multi Point Nuts
• 5 x Genuine ARP Washers
• 5 x O’Rings for under the washers

Please note that this kit will not fit the RENESIS 13b found in the RX-8 due to the additional length studs used around the exhaust port area. We are working on an RX-8 version so watch this space. 

Please note that your engine will require machining to accept these 1/2 studs. we would recommend this is done by a professional shop for best results as minimal clearance is preferred between the bores for the studs and the studs themselves to make the most of the increased clamping force and strength provided by studding your engine. Your front iron will need to be drilled and tapped for 1/2inch threads to match our studs. our 1/2inch stud kit offers a major step up from the factory 10mm studs and when machined properly offer the best choice over traditional engine dowelling, Traditional engine dowelling often costs more to carry out the machine work but still utilises stock 10mm bolts. to you gin nothing in additional clamping load through the engine block but gain in resistance to engine twist leading to cracking. Please note these are not yet available for sale but will be very soon. Additional Studs will also be available if you wish to add extras to your high powered engine build.
