Racing Beat Lightweight Aluminium Flywheel

Description

From street to road racing, the Racing Beat Aluminum Flywheel is ideally suited for a wide range of performance applications.

This lightweight aluminum unit reduces the flywheel weight about 29 percent from the original, and reduces the flywheel inertia approximately 55 percent. The weight of the stock flywheel is 16.8 lbs compared to 8 lbs for the Racing Beat Aluminum flywheel. For additional security, the ring gear is bolted firmly in place to the flywheel assembly.

This Flywheel will fit the following vehicles

• 1985-1992 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II
• 1991-2002 Mazda RX-7 FD3s
• 2003-2008 Mazda RX-8
• 2008-2013 Mazda RX-8

By using this flywheel on a 5 speed RX-8 it will let you replace the small 5 speed clutch with the larger diamiter 6 speed clutch that is more durable.
