Description
This drop in in air filter from K&N is designed to last the lifetime of your car. It will never need replacing, unlike the standard air intake filters, and will only need washing and re-oiling (every 50’000miles maximum).
For what is roughly double the price of a normal Air filter you can get better air flow and a reusable filter. The other upside to this is that if your unlucky enough to overfill your oil (on early cars) it would have been blown up in to your intake and contaminate your air filter with oil, Possibly leading to some of the following symptoms:
- Rough Idle
- Smoke from exhaust
- Stalling

*This is what K&N Claim however in our experience a panel filter along will not increase horsepower enough (if any) to be noticeable.
