Description
This is the rubber O-Ring real that is found on the main oil passage between the engines front iron and the front cover, Depending on your application and you may need a white teflon O-Ring also, these are sold separately.
On the second generation RX-7’s the combination of rubber and teflon seals varied so please pay attention to what setup you require when you dismantle your engine.
This seal is compatible with the following engines
All 12a Engines including
- 79-81 Mazda RX-7 SA22c (Series 1)
- 82-83 Mazda RX-7 FB (Series 2)
- 84-85 Mazda RX-7 FB (Series 3)
All 13b Engines from 74-02 including the common engines from
- 86-88 Mazda RX-7 FC3s Non-Turbo (Series 4)
- 86-88 Mazda RX-7 FC3s Turbo II (Series 4)
- 89-91 Mazda RX-7 FC3s Non-Turbo (Series 5)
- 89-91 Mazda RX-7 FC3s Turbo II (Series 5)
- 92-95 Mazda RX-7 FD3s (Series 6)
- 96-98 Mazda RX-7 FD3s (Series 7)
- 99-02 Mazda RX-7 FD3s (Series 8)
- 20b Cosmo Engines (using the old style paper front cover gasket)
