Essex Rotary Select 2kw Starter Motor for 2003-2008 Automatic RX-8

Description

This is a specially selected Starter motor for the Automatic RX-8 only.
Please note that this is totally different to the starters used on the manual RX-8 and as a result will only fit the Automatic version.

This starter is fitted with a 2kw rated motor offering superior cranking power and reliable starting on a healthy engine.
The original starters are often quite tired now due to the age of the vehicles and sourcing a quality replacement is not easy as the Automatic RX-8 was not sold officially here in the UK, the only Auto’s where those imported from Japan.

This starter motor will only fit the Series 1 RX-8 from 2003-2008.

Please note this is a Special order items only but if in stock with our supplier this is usually only 7-14 days to arrive with us.

Before ordering please ensure that the starter motor is your issue and your original one had not failed due to associated issues that could cause your replacement to have issues.
